چکیده

Ticks are natural reservoirs and vectors of a virus that is an infectious agent tick-borne encephalitis, communicable disease with great medical social significance. Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) widely spread in Arkhangelsk region (AR) located the Arctic zone Russia where substantial climatic changes taking place at moment. Our research involved examining spatial temporal distribution numbers people bitten by ticks, number ticks per 100 thousand, TBE cases incidence districts settlements AR. We calculated relative risks among AR from 1980 to 2019. analyzed dynamics indicators showing thousand living region. The analysis revealed grew slowly 1980–1990, then there was exponential growth 1990–2010, trend stabilized 2010–2019. Dynamics completely line up 2014 but drop after that. Spatial average amounted 25.1 northern 1980–2019 statistically significantly lower than central southern (р < 0.001). Average long-term highest (7.9 thousand) comparison (3.0 thousand; р<0.001) ones (0.7 р<0.001). Maximum detected 1990–1999 (38.8) ones. made assumption about probable reasons for declining over last years given growing people.

Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE), a zoonotic arbovirosis caused by tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV), is an increasing public health concern. Infections result in neurological symptoms in humans and the virus has rapidly expanded to new geographical areas. Three subtypes are currently present in different parts of Europe and Asia. The virus is transmitted by ticks, mainly Ixodes spp., between s...

Tick-borne Encephalitis Virus

T encephalitis (TBE), which is caused by tickborne encephalitis virus (TBEV), is a potentially fatal disease of the central nervous system, mainly in humans, but also in monkeys, dogs (1), and horses. Ruminants such as goats, sheep, and cattle are considered to be sporadically infected subclinically. However, they might be the source of disease in humans who consume nonpasteurized milk and milk...
